WellStop looks for people in the following areas who meet our criteria:
  • Specialist Clinicians with qualifications and experience in counselling, social work, family therapy, psychotherapy, art therapy or a related field who are eligible for registration and/or professional membership in New Zealand
  • Psychologists with a post-graduate qualification in Psychology with New Zealand Registration or eligible for New Zealand registration
  • Social Workers with a minimum Level B qualification in Social Work or equivalent and current Certificate of Competency
  • Administration and Support staff with experience and training in a range of administration skills including data management, financial management, word processing and reception skills.
​PLEASE NOTE: All job applicants must be New Zealand residents or hold an appropriate New Zealand work permit to apply for any of the above positions.

Social Worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to assess the needs of families (and partners of adults) where there has been sexual offending or sexually harmful behaviour, to provide individual work, group work and support to partners and family members.
We are looking for a Social Worker to assess the needs of families of children and youth who have sexual behaviour problems. On occasion the Social Worker will provide support to partners and family members of adults who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviour. The Social Worker will assist families to overcome barriers to attending treatment, will provide psychoeducation to family members and others within the client’s system and may assist clinicians to deliver group interventions
